DecoArt manufactures a wide variety of paint and specialty finishes for arts, crafts, and do-it-yourself home decorating markets.

DecoArt's mission is to fulfill the creative and art needs of artists, crafters and home decorators in the product categories of paints, specialty finishes and coatings.
In addition we strive to educate consumers on new and interesting ways to use our products.

DecoArt Division Founded
DecoArt was founded as a division of Ceramichrome, Inc., in 1985 which was owned by Stanley Clifford and James Miller.
Expansion of DecoArt, Inc.
Since 1985, DecoArt has dramatically expanded its product offering to include over 20 different product families of paint and decorative specialty finishes. The most famous brands are Americana, Dazzling Metallics, SoSoft, Craft Twinkles, Patio Paint, Crafter's Acrylic, Liquid Rainbow, Snow-Tex, JansenArt Traditions, DuraClear Varnishes, DecoMagic.
International Sales Expansion
DecoArt has been very successful in developing its international business and now exports to more than 60 countries. Our products are available with labeling in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
Facility
The company owns a 120,000 square foot manufacturing, distribution, and office facility in Stanford, Kentucky. The facility is located 35 miles south of Lexington in the beautiful Bluegrass Region of Kentucky.
Affiliations
The company is a member of the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) and the Society of Decorative Painters (SDP). Mr. Clifford, President and CEO has been on the Board of the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) for six years and served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Association Education and Finance Committees.
DecoArt's internet site decoart.com is loaded with education art and product information designed to help the consumer use our products. The site features a free project search engine that includes over 1,000 paint and home decorating projects.
