Additional Decorating Ideas/Applications:
Use Glow-in-the Dark Liquid Rainbow to create decorative stars or other glowing suncatchers. Use White Pearl Liquid Rainbow alone for mother-of-pearl look or add to other colors to pearlize. Crystal Glitter can be used alone or over any other color to add a crystal glimmer or create snowy, shiny effects. Use Crackle Medium to create a crackle effect. To create marble or swirl patterns: Combine two or more colors, allowing them to blend as you apply them. Use the bottle tip to swirl or drag colors for marbling or swirled effect. For a mottled look: Apply uneven layer of paint. When almost dry, use toothpicks or brush to distress the smoothness. Reapply paint onto the area and allow to dry. For the look of handblown glass: Squeeze desired colors directly from the bottle onto a vase or other glass surface, letting colors blend as they run down the side. For a swirled look: Combine two or more colors in a plastic cup, stir twice with a craft stick, and pour over desired surface. To create a mosaic look: Pour colors onto Styrene blanks, let dry, then cut into geometic shapes. Adhere shapes to glass surfaces as desired. For embossed look: use Liquid Rainbow Gold Leading to make designs on dried Liquid Rainbow vases, ornaments, or other surfaces. Embellish Liquid Rainbow creations with cabochons, glass beads, sequins, or other items. Simply press them into a drop of Liquid Raindrop and let dry. |

Helpful Hints:
Do not apply designs to painted walls, kitchen appliances, or furniture. Before applying leading, practice drawing designs. (Parents might want to draw the outlines for small children.) To apply leading, hold the bottle at a slight upright angle as you would hold a pencil. For a smooth flow and even thickness, hold bottle tip slightly above surface. Apply Crackle Medium to Liquid Rainbow surfaces that have completely dried for 24 hours (or longer in humid conditions). Use the tip to spread the Crackle Medium completely on the surface to be crackled and allow to dry thoroughly. Condensation on the window can prevent the designs from sticking. Excess moisture may cause some colors to re-wet slightly. If this occurs, simply remove the design, wipe design with paper towel, and reapply to dry surface. To clean finished design, wipe with a slightly moistened cloth. For best results, stick projects to surfaces that are room temperature or warmer. When sticking projects to cold windows, project should be room temperature. Use care in removing from cold surfaces; projects may crack when they become rigid. Shaking Liquid Rainbow bottle is not usually recommended. If separation has occurred, either roll or shake the bottle to re-mix. Invert and tap the bottle tip several times on a hard surface to move any bubbles away from the tip before using. If bottle has been shaken excessively, set bottle aside and allow to rest. If air bubbles appear when squeezing Liquid Rainbow onto surface, lift Styrene blank and tap several times underneath with your fingertips. If tip is clogged, remove cap, push toothpick from inside out to remove dried matter, and replace cap. When filling in leaded areas, make sure Liquid Rainbow makes contact with the leading. Spaces between leading and Liquid Rainbow may cause tearing when design is removed from Styrene blank. Ornaments and other dimensional surfaces decorated with Liquid Rainbow can be misted with Americana Matte Spray to minimize stickiness, if necessary. |
