Additional Decorating Ideas/Applications:

Apply with stencil brush, sponge or other preferred tool. Stencil on fabric: Mix paint with Fabric Medium 2:1. Air dry design 24-48 hours. Heat set painted design 30 seconds with iron set on appropriate temperature for fabric. Launder inside out on gentle cycle. Basecoating: May be brushed out as a basecoat or used for regular painting. May be used to tint DecoArt Americana Paintable Textures. |

Helpful Hints:

When stenciling on a slick surface such as a wall painted with semi-gloss or gloss paint, metal etc., Multi-Purpose Sealer may be mixed with the paint or used as a primer to improve adhesion. Successful application for a clean stencil image: Load stencil brush tips with paint. Pounce brush on a clean, dry paper towel to remove most of the paint. Lightly pounce paint inside stencil openings. NOTE: You can always apply another layer of paint to intensify the image. Loading the paint on the brush too heavily may result in paint bleeding under the stencil. |
