Instructions

Preparation Cut bunny in one piece out of 3/4" wood. Cut hands out of 1/4" wood. Painting Instructions Bunny: 1. Basecoat with Buttermilk. Transfer pattern. Shade with Milk Chocolate. 2. Paint nose with wash* of Gooseberry Pink and shade with Crimson Tide. 3. With #10/0 Liner, scrub cheeks with Gooseberry Pink. Paint smile and whiskers with Milk Chocolate. 4. Paint eyes and lashes with Lamp Black. 5. Highlight nose, cheeks and eyes with Buttermilk. 6. Float inside ears and pads of feet with Gooseberry Pink. Flowers: 1. Basecoat with Mauve, shade with Cranberry Wine and highlight with French Mauve. 2. With liner, stroke spirals with French Mauve. 3. Basecoat leaves with Mint Julep Green, highlight with Titanium White and shade with Green Mist. Reshade with Deep Teal. Stroke filler leaves in with a double loaded* brush with Mint Julep Green and Green Mist. Add tints of Mauve. 4. Stroke clusters of dip dots in Mint Julep Green, Green Mist and Lamp Black. Line and stem work is done with Green Mist. Heart: 1. Basecoat with French Mauve, make plaid with Mauve, and shade around edges with Rookwood Red. Paint lettering with Crimson Tide. Finishing Instructions 1. Spatter entire piece with Light Cinnamon. 2. Varnish. 3. Glue hands onto heart. Attach sawtooth hanger to back. LP27 |
