    PREPARATION
Sand surface and clean with tack cloth, if necessary.

    PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Use 2" brush to basecoat as follows: legs and back Sage Green; top back, center back, front, side and back panels under seat and rungs Dark Ecru; seat Soft White; lower back support Tuscany Red. Let dry.

    2. Following contour of seat, mask off 2" border around edge. Paint inside open area Dark Ecru. Let dry. Remove tape.

    3. Mask off stripes on top back, front, sides and back panels under seat with tape. Paint open areas with Tuscany Red. Let dry and remove tape.

    4. Mix small amount of Dark Walnut and Staining Medium 1:1. Wet T-shirt fabric and wring out excess moisture. Squeeze fabric into a loose ball and dip edge lightly into stain mix. Pounce on palette. Dab very lightly on seat, top and center back, front, sides and back panels under seat.

Helpful Hint: If stain appears too intense, soften by dabbing with clean side of fabric.

    5. When dry, position stencil on seat as desired. Use stencil brush to lightly dab open areas with Hunter Green. (Pick up small amount of paint on tips of bristles and rub on paper towel to remove excess paint.)

    6. Use #12 flat brush to paint center details on front rung Tuscany Red and Sage Green. Let dry.

    FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
