PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Flesh mix is 1:1 mix of Daisy Cream and Terra Cotta. PLAQUE 1. Basecoat masonite Cloud White. Let dry. Repeat with Sunflower Yellow. 2. Trace and transfer pattern. 3. Use sea sponge to dab Tiger Lily Orange around border. 4. Basecoat face and boots with flesh mix; patch, handkerchief and head scarf Holly Berry Red dotted with Cloud White; neck scarf Blue bell; shirt and cuffs Cloud White; overalls Light Waterfall Blue; gloves and boot tops Woodland Brown; crow Wrought Iron Black; crow's beak and feet Sunflower Yellow; straw Sunflower Yellow, Terra Cotta and Woodland Brown; eyes white and black; buckle and buttons Sunflower Yellow. 5. Dry-brush overalls with Daisy Cream and Woodland Brown; blush cheeks with Holly Berry Red. 6. Use liner and black to outline and detail scarecrow and scarf. Detail crow with Cloud White. TERRA COTTA POT 1. Glue terra cotta pot bottoms together. 2. Repeat painting instructions for scarecrow and crow with the exception of the scarecrow's face. Do not basecoat face. Natural terra cotta color will show. Blush cheeks with Holly Berry Red. 3. Use liner to add black and white stitching to pocket and around bottom of overalls. FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS - Glue straw in top pot. LP33 |
