Instructions

1. Sand wood frame and craft wood sheet, and remove dust with tack cloth. 2. Paint frame Azalea using 1" brush. Recoat as necessary. 3. Paint craft wood sheet Bright Lime Green using 1" brush and applying paint in one direction. Apply second coat in opposite direction to create linen texture. Continue alternating application directions if additional coats are desired. 4. Sketch flip-flop shapes onto wood sheet with pencil. Fill in flip-flop bases using Blue Bahama and flip-flop tops using Sunshine Yellow and 1/2" brush. Recoat if desired. 5. Paint dots on flip-flops using Coral Sunset and detail brush. Recoat if desired. 6. Outline flip-flop bottoms using Azalea and detail brush. Recoat if desired. 7. Paint "Welcome" in Coral Sunset across top of sign. (Optional: use letter stamps and ink to place letters before painting.) Recoat if desired, and place painted sign into frame. |
