    Product Note
No-Prep Metal Paint is a non-toxic paint that has good adhesion to most metal surfaces. It is available in 35 colors and a Clear Medium.

    Transferring a Pattern
Lay tracing paper over pattern and draw the basic lines. Lay this tracing on the surface to be painted. Slip graphite paper between the tracing and the surface. Tape to secure. Trace with a pencil to transfer the design. Do not trace details until after basecoating has dried.

    Painting Instructions
    Wall Basket
    1. Mix Colonial Grey and Bright White 1:1 to make light grey. Paint edges and 2" band on front of basket with grey mix. Let dry.

    2. Using Fresh Lavender, paint either side of grey band. On wall flap, paint 1" band
just inside grey band. Let dry.

    3. Paint remaining metal showing with Coal Black. Let dry.

    4. Just above grey band on front, paint 1/4" band of Bright White. Let dry.

    5. Using Bright Blue, draw dotted line on back where Fresh Lavender and Coal Black meet. Also draw dotted Bright Blue line where Bright White and Fresh Lavender line meet. Place Bright Yellow dots at intersection of each Bright Blue line. Let dry.

    6. Use Bright White to place small dots around Fresh Lavender bands on back and bottom. Paint wide Coal Black stripes along grey rims.

    7. Centered on back, write in Bright White, "Be Sweet, Take a Treat!" Let dry, then go over in Bright Yellow.

    10. Paint wood shapes with similar colors and patterns. Glue two triangles facing out on either end to make "candies."

    11. Paint beads with different colors and put a few polka dots on some.

    12. Twist wire through two hanging holes, threading beads intermittently, twist wire around handle of paint brush to curl. Glue candy shapes around on wire.
