Hope for Friends Mug
Drink some tea and honor the special women in your life with this Pretty 'n Pink breast cancer awareness mug.

DecoArt Products Required
10/0 liner brush
#4 and #6 flat brushes
#5 round brush
Damp cloth
Rubbing alcohol
Palette or paper plate
|
Clear, footed cafe mug
|
Preparation: Clean mug with alcohol. Let dry.
1. With #5 round brush and Black, paint three hearts on mug. Let dry.
2. With #6 flat brush and Hope Pink, paint base and handle of mug. Let dry. (Apply second coat if needed.)
3. With #4 flat brush and Hope Pink, paint ribbon in center of each heart and randomly on mug. Let dry.
4. With #5 round brush and White randomly paint posies on mug. Dot centers with Hope Pink. Let dry.
5. With liner brush and Hope Pink, outline hearts. With liner brush and Black, outline ribbons and posies.
6. With liner brush and Black, write "hope", "courage", 'strength", and "love" on mug. On base, write '"friend", "mom", "grandma", and "sister". Paint hearts between each one. Let dry.
7. Place mug in cool oven. Bake on 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Let completely cool before removing.
