Jolly Roger Pumpkin

DecoArt Products Required
Foam pirate eye patch, Darice Foamies #1052-80P
Lo-temp glue gun
Tracing or transfer paper
Black print bandana
1/4" flat brush
1/2" round foam pouncer brush
2" steel gold-tone ring

Foam pumpkin (This one is about 6" x 8".)

1. Trace and gently transfer face pattern to pumpkin.
2. Cut strap of eye patch near center. Refer to photo for placement and position eye patch on pumpkin; glue patch and ends of straps in place.
3. Fold bandana in half diagonally. Place folded edge across front of pumpkin over ends of eye patch strap; glue underneath folded edge to secure in place. Tuck back corner flaps under side corners and tie corners (along folded edge) together in knot to one side. Place gold ring "earring" at right side under bandana; secure in place by gluing between bandana and pumpkin.
4. Referring to photo and using Antique White, paint eye (half oval) about 1 1/2" wide; paint 3" elongated oval for mouth. Allow to dry.
5. Use pouncer brush dipped into Hauser Light Green to paint circle for iris of eye; allow paint to dry.
6. Use Black Americana Writer to draw eye, dot for pupil, eyebrow, nose, and uneven lines for gapped teeth. Allow to dry.
7. Use Red Americana Writer to outline shape of mouth. Allow to dry.
