  •     Instructions
    PREPARATION
    1. Stain basket with Walnut Gel Stain. Wipe with soft cloth and, when dry, apply Americana Matte Spray.

    2. Transfer main pattern lines to lid. Apply 1:1 mix of Multi-Purpose Sealer and Light French Blue to top portion; mix of sealer and Leaf Green to ground area.

    3. Paint center band around basket and 1/2" band around lid with Heritage Brick; 1/8" band on lid next to design is Honey Brown.

    PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Basecoat father with Dark Chocolate. Apply a coat of Weathered Wood and a topcoat of Antique White, letting dry between coats.

    2. Basecoat remaining bunnies as follows:
    Light Buttermilk: blanket (with Heritage Brick checks) and head and paws of daughter bunny;
    Antique White: head, paws and legs of mother bunny,
    and entire son bunny (paw and foot patches are Light Buttermilk);
    Khaki Tan: picnic basket, and daughter's dress and bow (add wide lines of Green Mist and thin lines of Heritage Brick with liner);
    Green Mist: daughter's jacket;
    Honey Brown: mother's dress;
    French Grey Blue: Father's vest and son's neckerchief (liner detail and dots are Light Buttermilk);
    Heritage Brick: mother's hat and daughter's button;
    Tangelo Orange: carrots and juice;
    Leaf Green: lettuce in basket;
    Neutral Grey: lid on bottle and undercoat on pet.

    Picnic Basket
    1. Crosshatch lines and shading are Dark Chocolate. Highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    2. Grain lines and nails are Lamp Black.

    Mother Bunny
    1. Basecoat underside of ears (dark on pattern) and shade along ear with Mississippi Mud. Highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    2. Dab in cheeks with Antique Rose.

    3. Eyes, nose and mouth line are Lamp Black. Add tiny highlight dots at 2 o'clock in eyes. Whiskers are Light Buttermilk.

    4. Shade hat with Soft Black. Highlight with Fiery Red. Line stem and leaf with Leaf Green and touch a little highlight of Thermal Green. Flower petals are tiny strokes of Light Buttermilk with Golden Straw dot center.

    5. Shade dress with Burnt Sienna then Heritage Brick. Highlight with Golden Straw. Add Heritage Brick stitches.

    6. Add flower petal stitches with Heritage Brick, adding a touch of Fiery Red on those toward center. Stem stitches and leaves are Leaf Green with a touch of Thermal Green; center dots are Golden Straw.

    7. Add wash to bottle with Light Buttermilk. Softly shade down each side and across bottom with Neutral Grey and dash a strong highlight of Light Buttermilk in the upper right corner. Add Light Buttermilk letters. Shade lid with Graphite and highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    Father Bunny
    1. Shade with Mississippi Mud then Dark Chocolate. Highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    2. Face details are Lamp Black. Add tiny highlight dots in eyes at 2 o'clock with Light Buttermilk.

    3. Shade vest with Deep Midnight Blue, then Payne's Grey. Highlight with Light French Blue.

    4. Buttons are Payne's Grey with highlight dot of Light Buttermilk. Buttonholes are Lamp Black.

    Daughter Bunny
    1. Shade with Khaki Tan, then Mississippi Mud. Highlight with Titanium White.

    2. Dab in cheeks with Antique Rose. Add face detail as for other bunnies.

    3. Shade dress and bow with Dark Chocolate. Highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    4. Shade jacket with Antique Teal, then Black Green. Highlight with Light Buttermilk. Add Heritage Brick stitches. Button is shaded with Soft Black and highlighted with Fiery Red. Dot holes with Lamp Black and add a Light Buttermilk string.

    Son Bunny
    1. Shade with Mississippi Mud, then Dark Chocolate. Highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    2. Add face details same as for others with Light Buttermilk whiskers.

    3. Paint paw and toe stitches Lamp Black.

    4. Shade neckerchief with Deep Midnight Blue under head and on ties next to head. Highlight with Light Buttermilk.

    Pet Bunny
    1. Use old toothbrush to stipple all over with Light Buttermilk.

    2. Shade with Graphite. Stipple Titanium White. Glaze with Antique Rose.

    3. Face details are Lamp Black with Light Buttermilk whiskers.

    Carrots
    1. Stipple carrot tops with Leaf Green; shade with Black Green. Stipple highlight with Thermal Green. Shade and highlight lettuce with same colors.

    2. Shade carrots on tops next to leafy part with heritage Brick and dash a highlight of Golden Straw down center. Shade with Soft Black across veggies in basket. String on daughter's carrots is Light Buttermilk; carrot lines are Lamp Black.

    Ground
    Shade with Black Green under blanket. Pull up some grass at corners with Black Green, Leaf Green and Thermal Green.

    FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Background shading behind and under bunnies is Dark Chocolate. Strengthen with Soft Black.

    2. Add Lamp Back lining where needed.

    3. Antique with Walnut Gel Stain.

    4. When dry, add a coat of Americana Matte Spray.
