Preparation - When working with Heavenly Hues no wood preparation is required, except to fill and sand holes. Apply to raw wood and sand lightly when thoroughly dry. Painting Instructions Plaque 1. Use 1" wash brush and equal parts Earth Brown and Shadow Tan with 1" wash brush to stain entire piece. 2. Stain edges in Hunter Green with #12 shader. Transfer Pattern. 3. Float tulip leaves with #12 shader. and stems with #1liner in Hunter Green. 4. Float tulips in a mix of equal parts white and Misty Mauve with #12 shader. 5. Float rabbit in white with #12 shader. 6. Float egg first in Moon Yellow and then stipple with Moon Yellow plus a touch of Golden Halo. Stripe Beautiful Burgundy with #1 liner . Do rick rack in Ocean Teal with #2 shader. 7. Do ladybug face in white. Do body in Soft Black. Do wings in Beautiful Burgundy and dot Soft Black, all with #1 liner. 8. Do paint brush handles in Soft Black with #2 shader. Do bristles in Golden Halo. Paint on the end of rabbit's brush in light pink mix. Paint on ladybug's brush is Hunter Green. 9. Do lettering and liner work in Soft Black with #1 liner. Basket: 1. Basecoat center band in white with #12 shader. Stipple with Moon Yellow. 2. Float tulip leaves and stems in Hunter Green with #2 shader. 3. Float tulips in a mix of equal parts white and Misty Mauve with #2 shader. LP27 |
