  •     Supplies
        Surfaces
  • #8 round brush
  • water container
  • paper towel
  • palette or plastic plate
  • cellulose sponge
  • old rag
  • Papier mache gourds, assorted sizes and shapes

  •     Instructions
    PREPARATION
    Clean surfaces of all dirt and debris

    1. Use palette knife to spread Natural Paper Perfect onto surface; even out with fan brush.
    2. Use sponge to remove excess water. Let dry.
    3. Paint center of sunflowers Traditional Burnt Sienna and shade with Lamp Black.
    4. Load round brush with True Ochre and tip with Country Red. Paint stroke from center outward to create back row of petals. Let dry.
    5. Load round brush with True Ochre and tip with Cadmium Yellow; paint stroke from center outward to create back row of petals. Let dry.
    6. Mix equal amounts of Staining and Antiquing Medium with Raw Sienna and brush onto gourds.
    7. Rub off excess with rag.
