TRACY MEOLA

Tracy is a professional artist who specializes in still-life acrylic paintings and graphite illustration.
She lives in Plaistow, New Hampshire with her husband, where she owns a Studio & Gallery called "Art On Main".
She paints and teaches in her studio and hosts Art shows in the gallery.

As a child Tracy loved crayons and coloring books and eventually graduated to sketch pads & pencils and paint.
She attended The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale majoring in Advertising and Illustration.

Tracy’s style balances between representational and realism.
Her controlled style was evident back during her coloring book days. Even then she would carefully try to make the things in the coloring books look as realistic as possible.
She paints with DecoArt fluid acrylics using her own adapted technique of lightly layering paint with the use of water, which provides the soft blended look in her artwork, which many mistake as oil.

Tracy chooses elements for her still-life paintings that have texture and light which is why many of her still-life paintings include glass or candles. She wants her artwork to give others a sense of home, peace, joy or nostalgia. Together the objects tell a story or evoke a memory.

Tracy sells her artwork and prints in her gallery, Art On Main, and in her online store. www.etsy.com/shop/tracymeolaart.

She also writes an art blog, follow Tracy's blog at
