Tween Dresser Update

Update a "between ager's" bedroom with Americana® Decor™ Chalky Finish paints and Crème Waxes.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • stylus or pencil
    • sponge brush
    • soft cloth
    • wooden letter
    • E6000 glue
    • white dresser
    • pencil

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Use a sponge brush to apply the first coat of Relic to all dresser drawer fronts except the bottom drawer. Paint the bottom drawer Romance as an accent. Let dry.
    2. Repeat with a second coat of Relic on the drawer fronts and two more coats of Romance on the bottom drawer to get full coverage. (Let each coat dry at least two hours between applications.)
    3. Add polka dots along the fronts of the Relic painted drawers with a pencil eraser using Romance and Everlasting. (Apply higher concentration of Romance dots starting from bottom up and of Everlasting dots starting from top and going down.) Let dry.
    4. Apply a coat of Clear Créme Wax along fronts, using a soft cloth and circular motion. Let dry.
    5. Buff drawer fronts with a second soft cloth.
    6. Optional: Paint wood letter Everlasting, let dry, and adhere to front of Romance accent drawer using E6000 glue.
