Hosting family and friends at your house for the Big Game? Make sure your party is #1 with these 5 touchdown ideas!

First of all, let's face it! Sometimes there isn't a lot of football viewing at football viewing parties. We gather because of the Big Game, but the real draw is good company and GREAT food. This year, impress your guests with festive décor and clever ways to serve their favorite foods and drinks. You'll be surprised at how easy and fun it is to paint your own projects that reflect your team spirit!

#1. Bold Centerpiece

This "WIN" centerpiece by Michelle's Party Plan-It is easier than you think! All you need is Americana Acrylics in your favorite shade of green (We have a Turf Green!), painter's tape, a brush, and paper mache letters you can find at your local craft store.

#2 Festive Serving Tray

Every party is going to have a serving tray of some kind so you may as well make it awesome! This plastic tray was reverse painted, meaning the design was painted on the bottom, using Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics. Add your family name or your team colors to make it extra special! #3 Custom Glassware

These 4 simple football-themed designs can be painted by anyone with the help of painter's tape and Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics. Mason jar mugs were used in this tutorial, but you can paint your favorite style of glassware!

Even if your party is BYOB, you can easily and inexpensively treat your guests to a special party punch. All you need is Hawaiian punch, ginger ale, and pineapple juice. Use a Hawaiian punch that is your team color! Pick a ratio you like best, but a good starting point is to add your Hawaiian punch, add half as much ginger ale, and add a splash of pineapple juice. Feel free to include some extra team spirits if desired.

#4 Turf Table Runner

This turf table runner by Chica & Jo will make you feel like you're on the sidelines. Use tape to create the lines or DecoArt paint!

#5 Nacho Bar

Preparing food for a large group of people can be overwhelming, but this DIY nacho bar from Giggles Galore is a touchdown for you and your guests. Since you are able to prepare all the toppings ahead of time, you get to sit back and enjoy the party. Your guests will love it, too, since they get to serve themselves exactly what they want. If your picky friend doesn't like onions, he doesn't have to add any onions!
