It's January so that means it's time to get organized, right? The first part of the year is a great time to amp up your organization prowess and get those junk drawers and closets in order! If you've got little ones you also know that after the holidays is certainly a great time to get those toys in line too. And today we're going to show you a quick, easy and FUN way to collect the mess with these Painted Toy Jars!
Jars are great for organizing small toys - in our case in a house full of boys - we have blocks and cars galore! For girls, these jars would be perfect for, let's see Rainbow Loom supplies or Barbie accessories!
Items needed:
- Americana Acrylics 2oz - Whispering Turquoise
- Americana Acrylics 2oz - Sea Glass
- Glass Jars
- Paint Brushes
- Toys
- Hot Glue Gun
Instructions:

Paint a toy with Americana acrylic paint and let dry.

Paint the lid or top of your jar with the same color of Americana acrylic paint.

Once dry, glue your toy to the lid with a glue gun.

Fill your jar!
So very easy, but also so cute! My boys instantly understood what the jars meant and love to put their little toys away in them.
You could also apply this same concept to larger containers for larger toys - such a fun and decorative way to organize your kids rooms!
