Decorating your home for the holidays should be a reflection of you, do you like simple or more elaborate?  What colors do you lean towards?  Do you follow a theme or prefer to embrace multiple styles?  Today I’m sharing a holiday wreath that reflects my design style, it's simple with a few details and a beautiful nod to the holiday season.

The pieces for this wreath were made using the new Cricut Maker and I will share the steps below in addition to providing the house files.  You could cut any shape you desire, maybe you want something more whimsical like a snowman or Santa face?  Search the Cricut design space for hundreds of free images.

Open Cricut Design Space and follow steps below:
   - Click on New Project
   - Click on Upload
   - Click on Upload Image
   - Click Browse and find the house shape file on your desktop
   - Select image type: complex, click Continue
   - Click on white spaces in house (windows & doors) – this tells Maker to ‘cut out these portions’, click Continue
   - Save as a cut file image, click Save
   - Click on image, click Insert Images
   - Resize the image as desired on the canvas, click Make It
   - Follow the prompts, as usual, be sure to select Wood
   - After the first cut DO NOT UNLOAD the mat, hit the Cricut bug button immediately to cut again. This allows multiple cuts while the mat is loaded in the same position. I made 10 passes.

Place one leaf down then a 5” piece of wire and another leaf on top to make a sandwich.  Make all the leaf sandwiches and then wrap the thin green wire onto stem wire spacing out the leaves.

I love the wreath and would love to make one. I also like the Winter Scene ornament and just bought the clear ornaments to paint some of them.
