Holiday tips

This time of year can be stressful, so we would like to share a few tips to help you get through the holiday season with as few headaches as possible.

  • Organization does wonders, so plan ahead.
  • Know when to say “No” and when to ask for help.
  • Forget perfection! Stop obsessing over doing it right.
  • Give up the guilt and give yourself a break. Relax, read a book, and enjoy your own company. Eat that extra piece of pie!
  • Laugh out loud! Laugh like crazy! It actually reduces stress and is very therapeutic.
  • Do something un-materialistic this season. Remember the holidays aren’t just about shopping.
  • Take the time to hug those closest to you.
  • In the spirit of the season, give something that is priceless — your compassion and forgiveness.
  • Last but not least — PAINT SOMETHING!
