Marianne Andreazza

Marianne first picked up a brush in 1996 by taking a 4-week tole painting class. She quickly learned to love painting and expanded her horizons with many techniques and instructors. She gee to love teaching and has taught a wide range of skill levels and venues…from beginners in retail outlets to advanced painters at Conventions and Workshops. Her biggest teaching accomplishment was formulating and teaching a 4-day mural and furniture painting workshop, which included writing a 104-page student guide. She has demonstrated her painting on small and large scales to include Conventions, the Southern Women's Show, and CHA.

Family and career pressures took time away from painting after her relocation back to California in 2004. While Marianne never totally abandoned her paint brushes, she has rediscovered a renewed passion for painting in the last few years. Acrylics are her first love, and she has recently discovered the fun of mixed media.

Marianne enjoys being a designer as well as a student, and she loves to share what she has learned with fellow painters. Recently, her work has been featured in online publications and DecoArt's own project pages. She is not a newbie when it comes to publishing. Between 2003 and 2006, Marianne's work was published on ten different occasions in decorative painting magazines and multi-artist books.
