Marty has enjoyed painting and creating art, all her life. She used her artwork to help earn income by selling her creations at craft fairs and art shows. Over the years, Marty has been asked to paint for all types or organizations and on all types of surfaces. She has literally “left her mark” all over town as she has been commissioned to paint murals for many of the businesses and families in her area.
This is just the beginning to Marty’s story as her artwork has begun moving in a new direction. In 2006 she attended her first ever painting convention has since submitted and been accepted to teach at many national painting conventions. Invited to teach at workshops, retreats and seminars has been published "Paintworks" Magazine; "The Deocrative Painter"Magazine and was included in the "100 Angels" by 100 Artist book published by the Decorative Art Museum.

Marty also has a “real job” as a result of painting on the outside of a local business. She was basically interviewed for a job that has turned out to be a perfect fit for her. She was offered and accepted a position with Liberty County Juvenile Probation using her art to help build self esteem in kids, along with data entry and general clerical duties. She thoroughly enjoys passing her love of art and painting on to the kids.
