Bounce into Summer with a colorful game using Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

    • transfer paper
    • flat brush
    • wooden box
    • sponge pouncer
    • wooden paddle
    • round brush
    • liner brush
    • medium flat brush
    • beach ball

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Paint each of the paddles in Canary, Coastal Waters, Shrimp, or Inch Worm.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. On the Canary paddle, trace hearts and arrows and paint in Purple Sunset using a round brush. On the Coastal Waters paddle, trace two large and four small "smiley" faces. Paint the two large faces with a medium brush in Canary; the four small faces in Poppy.

    5. On the Shrimp paddle, trace two peace signs and three swirls; paint in Inch Worm with a flat and a round brush. On the Inch Worm paddle, trace two large and three small flowers. Paint the large flowers in Pink Tropics; the small in Pink Cadillac.

    7. On the Canary paddle, paint tiny swirls and arrows in Poppy. On the Coastal Waters paddle, paint hashtag marks with a liner brush in Pink Tropics. With a small paintbrush, paint eyes and mouths of the faces in Coastal Waters.

    9. On the Shrimp paddle, trace triangle patterns; paint in Coastal Waters with a small brush. On the Inch Worm paddle, use a foam pouncer and Canary for the large flower centers. Use a small brush to paint the centers of the small flowers with Canary.

    11. Paint the entire box in Chick. Trace the flower, stem, leaf patterns onto the box. Paint the flowers in Pink Tropics, Purple Sunset, and Poppy. Paint the stems and leaves in Inch Worm with a round brush.

    13. Paint the flower centers with a foam sponge and Canary. With a small brush, use Woodland Green to make wavy stem shadows and to paint underneath the leaves. Paint a scalloped trim along top edge with a 1/2" foam pouncer and Shrimp. Paint smiley faces on the flowers with a liner brush and the handle end of a paintbrush with Woodland Green.

    15. Use Shrimp and the foam pouncer to make polka dots on the beach ball.
