Description

DecoArt Satin Enamels 3 Color Set -

Satin Enamels is a go-to paint for creating beautiful acrylic paint pours and DIY projects. It has unbelievable coverage and an amazing durable satin finish. Satin Enamels is a great kitchen and cabinet paint. Its durability also makes it a great furniture and dresser paint. Satin Enamels paint is also popular among fluid artists and has become a fan favorite with acrylic pouring. Want to achieve the beauty of cloud pours? You have to have Satin Enamels Pure White!

Water based acrylic paint. Not outdoor approved. Artist tested approved surfaces: canvas, wood, MDF, metal, glass, terra cotta, furniture, glazed ceramics, pyrex, recycled glass. Finish: Satin. Not bakeable for a dishwasher safe finish. Dry time: allow to dry 1-2 hours between coats *dry time may vary due to temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.

Directions: No primer or sealer is needed before painting or to protect the finish afterwards. For better coverage on slick surfaces, use a light touch. Pressing too firmly with the brush can cause paint to slide off the surface. For an eggshell finish, use a high-density cosmetic sponge to tap the paint onto the surface. This technique will also give your basecoat "tooth" that makes it easier for additional coats of paint or painted designs to adhere. Clean pre-finished surfaces thoroughly before painting. Use TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) or a degreaser to clean the surface thoroughly. Follow label instructions for best results.

For furniture: Remove hardware. Place hardware for each door or drawer in a separate sealable bag. Label bag with a piece of tape and a marker or place a piece of paper with info inside the bag. Remove drawers and/or doors. Use a piece of masking tape to label them with their original location. Make sure to put the tape on an area you won't be painting, like the drawer bottom or back of doors, so that you won't have to remove the label during the painting process.

LOVE the cells !

"I have been totally into Deco Art's Satin Eamel paint. I am loving the cells that I have been getting when I have mixed them with water and Floetrol. For me, I am giving them a "10". I have been paiting with the Blue, Black, and white. I can't wait to paint some more with it."

Glass paint is terrific!

"I had a very positive experience. I used the glass paint to redo glass liquid soap and lotion bottles. The coverage was excellent. I did put them in the oven after 4 days and the result was amazing!"

Good Glass Paint

"It works pretty well and bakes good. I would like it better if it didn't leave brush strokes. I find it hard to smooth it out."

150 Painted Wine Glasses

"I liked the thickness and coverage of the Deco Glass Paint. It covered well if you let first coat dry, before you start second coat."

DeckArd glass paint

"I LOVE DecoArt paints! These glass paints are no exception. The colors are gorgeous and the paint is the perfect consistency for dot painting."

Denise C. (5/5)

DecoArt Glass Paint

"I had a set of ceramic canisters that I loved the style. However, they were tan and I had remodeled my kitchen in white. I bought 10 jars of white glass paint. I washed the jars and then went over them again with alcohol. It took about five coats to get the jars looking even. I ended up using five of the ten jars. I cured them the four days that was suggested. If I dragged a fingernail over them they would scratch so I decided to put them in the over at the recommended time and temperature. They seemed pretty bulletproof at that point and I put my new farmhouse decals on them. I have been using them a month now and couldn't be happier. I believe everyone should put them in the over as it makes the finish so much nicer looking and stronger. I highly recommend this product."
