DecoArt Extreme Sheen® is an advanced, highly-pigmented metallic paint formula that makes it the brightest, water-based acrylic metallic paint on the market. Offered in a variety of trendy as well as classic colors, this acrylic art paint will give you a uniform, metallic shimmer from its ultra-fine, reflective pigments.

Water-based acrylic paint. Not outdoor approved. Artists Tested Approved Surfaces: wood, canvas, metal, terra cotta, fabric, paper, ceramics, glass, styrofoam, most plastics. Finish: metallic. Not bakeable for a dishwasher safe finish.

Directions: Shake well. Apply with a soft brush or sponge. Apply additional coats as needed. Easy soap and water clean up.

Food safety.I want to pai t anedge on charger plates
Hi Jeanne, thank you for your question. DecoArt does not consider any of our current products to be food safe for people or pets, even with the AP seal on most of our products. They can be used on glassware as long as the paint does not come into contact with anything that will be ingested. They are certified in a toxicological evaluation by a medical expert to contain no materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to humans, including children, or to cause acute or chronic health problems.
Can extreme sheen be diluted and used with a spray gun. If yes, what reducer can I use?
Hi Daniel, thank you for your question. We have not tested Extreme Sheen with a spray gun. Extreme Sheen is water-based, so it can be diluted with water, but a little goes a long way.
Can an Extreme Sheen paint be used with an air brush?
Hi Kim, thank you for your question. We have not tested Extreme Sheen with an airbrush, so it is unclear if it would react positively or not.
Can i use it on glazed porcelain?
Hi Kenia, thank you for your question. DecoArt Extreme Sheen can be used on ceramics, but there is not a distinction wether it can be used on glazed porcelain. We would recommend testing it before committing to the full project.
