"I have painted on canvas and art boards and used chalk sticks, too, as another medium for years. I bot a terrible looking dresser in an antique store as I wanted to try chalk paint and image transfers. The $60 horrible chest of drawers looks great now and was fun to paint. The acrylic chalk paint was so easy to use. It took a few minutes to figure out the transfers, but they look good too."

"I use wax effects primarily to create washes and varnishes. I usually mix it 1:1 with distilled water and brush on multiple coats. The surface finish is beautiful and unlike anything I’ve been able to find. I also use it to thicken up paint if I need to cover an edge (encaustic) in “hard edge” paintings. I hope it is not discontinued, I tried other acrylic wax products when these were out of stock, but I was disappointed as nothing compares."
