At DecoArt, we’ve been thrilled to watch this creative wave grow, and even more excited to support the talented individuals behind it. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on our giveaway winner, Justice Wolfe, whose vibrant designs and imagination remind us exactly why this movement is so powerful. Keep reading to learn more about her process, her favorite DecoArt shades, and what inspires her bold, banner-worthy creations.
Meet Justice
“I’m a 22-year-old wife, stay-at-home mom, and artist from southwest Louisiana, now living on the sunny coast of Florida. I’m married to a proud U.S. veteran, and together we’re raising our sweet baby girl! My days are filled with beach walks, collecting seashells, and teaching my daughter life’s simple joys.”
How did you get into banner painting?
"I painted my first banner for my daughter’s first birthday. I loved how it turned out and how special it was that I got to create something so meaningful for such a special occasion. Then my close friends would ask me to make custom banners for their upcoming events. After a couple of banner requests from my friends, I felt called to start a small banner business so I did and I love getting to create custom banners to make peoples events even more personal and fun!"
If you had one piece of advice for someone who just started banner painting, what would it be?
"My one piece of advice for new banner painters, is paint the style that works best for you and the one that comes naturally. When you paint with your own creativity, there is less pressure on you to make the “perfect” banner and it’ll be easier to love your own creations!"
